You can come by ferry boat from Pireus (6 hrs.),from Gythion (Peloponnese 3 hrs.)or from Neapoli south of Peloponnese (1 hrs.), or by aeroplane from Athens (35 min.), or from Italia by ferry boat of Minoan Lines to Patras, and then by own car to Gythion or Neapoli (Peloponnese) and then to Kythera. In the center of the island is located <STRONG> MITATA</STRONG>, the beautiful  green traditional village,with a wonderful view to a splendid canyon,ending to an unspoilt beach,named of Paleopolis. Gorge, dense vegetation of various trees, aromatic plants, springs capture the senses and the look! Here you can find the unique variety of nectarine known as  breasts of Aphrodite . The local restaurant of our village Mitata , with delicious traditional dishes has a panoramic view to the physical beauty of the area. A small mini market in the village offers traditional products of the island, as well as a nice meeting point of the local people. <BR><BR> Our <STRONG>« Jasmin House »</STRONG> is located in the edge of the village Mitata, with a breathtaking view to the canyon. It combines the absolute peace of the green,the caves of the wild birds,the gorges,the smells of jasmin,rosemary and the blue of the sea ! It is a traditional stonewalled house of the 19 cen., rennovated with respect to the local architecture. The one meter wide walls offer ideal temperature to the residens and the arches remind the old times. Jasmin House is of different levels and is equipped with a bedroom (double bed ),bathroom,dressing room with the possibility to use the sofa as a single bed , dining room, kitchen ,living room with according to needs can easily be changed to a second dubble bedroom. In addition a veranda with an astonished view to the canyon and the sea. The garden is also of different levels with total privacy and full of smells of flowers and plants.A jasmIn plant gives a wonderful odour and atmosphere. The nights you can touch the stars laying in the veranda& .The house also has central heating and fireplace making it a beautiful destination throughout the year.
